Vall Fosca also has a fascinating hydroelectric heritage. At the beginning of the 20th century, the valley became an important centre for hydroelectric development, transforming its landscape and bringing new infrastructure and mountain paths to this remote area. Today, traces of this history can still be discovered along the valley.
